Accommodation in the local area
Despite Trellech's small size, there are a number of places to stay in the local area with close proximity to the site.
Camping on Site
Camping is available on site and is free as it is included in the fee for attending the excavation. The cost for the summer annual excavation is £60 per person per week. Payments are be made prior to arrival either by bank transfer or cheque. Details on these are contained in the Summer Annual Excavation part of the website, part way down under the heading 'Fees'. Amenities on the site include Port-a-loos, and mains drinking water from stand pipes.
Guest Houses and Bed & Breakfasts
There are a number of local alternatives should you not wish to camp onsite. Please find below a list of a few of the hotels and B&Bs in the local area, but there are many more. These are listed for reference only and as such are not recommended or affiliated to the Lost City of Trellech project in any way. Hopefully they should prove a useful aid to finding accommodation.
